Organically grown vines and authentic wines, without chemicals or technological processes.
Grapes, observation, and patience result in wines that are whole and true to the grape varieties and the terroir. These are exclusive and elegant vintages, wines made with the winemaker's touch.

A human-scale estate

The Plantavin estate was created in 2021 and is located in the heart of the Cahors vineyard in the Lot department (46).
Located on the Quercy Blanc plateau at an altitude of 300m, the vineyard covers a total of 5ha.
Old vines with Malbec and Merlot grape varieties.
The soil is composed of clay and calcareous gravel from siderolithic formations.
This terroir is conducive to the production of high-quality, age-worthy wines with beautiful minerality, excellent ripeness and controlled yields.

Handcrafted

From pruning to bottling, I do everything myself. The estate is on a human scale. It was important for me to master the entire process like a craftsman, an artist.
Everything is done manually, the sheep take care of the shearing and the organic inputs, the wines are free from violent processes or technological treatments.
Everything is focused on know-how rooted in tradition, knowledge, and old-fashioned farming and winemaking practices.
While contributing my creativity and experience.
The goal is therefore to offer unique wines, true to my ambitions while respecting the material, the terroir and the grape varieties.
My bottles should be a discovery, an experience.
The craftsmanship makes all the difference, in quality and intensity.
Everything is a detail, everything must be controlled, from the beverage to the bottle.

From vine to wine...

All the wines from the estate come from our plots cultivated using organic farming methods.
All grapes are hand-picked into crates to preserve their quality until they are placed in the vat.
No inputs are used before, during or after the winemaking process until bottling.
These processes occur naturally, thanks to the indigenous yeasts present on the grapes.
All winemaking work is done manually, gently, with respect for the raw materials.
Regular and valuable monitoring and impeccable hygiene make it possible to do without oenological products.
Letting time, in control, is the best way to bring to life a complete wine, true to its identity and its terroir.
Unfiltered wines contribute to the production of distinctive, elegant, and flavorful wines. Over time, the wines become clearer through sedimentation.
Long aging periods in barrels can last from 24 to 36 months so that substance and complexity transform into finesse.
Plantavin wines are therefore produced using artisanal, limited-production methods (maximum 3000 bottles per vintage)...
...for truly artisanal wines.
